From Brazilian Top Team Austin

May 13, 2026

Some people earn belts through time.
Others earn respect through consistency, character, and loyalty.

Today we want to thank one of our longtime brown belts for not only his perseverance on the mats, but for the friendship, trust, and loyalty he has shown throughout the years.

The journey in Jiu-Jitsu is never easy. Life changes, challenges come, ups and downs happen — but true martial artists continue showing up.

We are proud to have shared this path together and grateful to have people like him helping build the culture and family that Brazilian Top Team stands for.

Thank you for your years of dedication and for being part of this journey with us. OSS. 🥋🤝

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
