Sometimes the journey home becomes part of the story.

After an intense experience at the World Masters in Las Vegas, I found myself stuck at the Las Vegas airport, trying to make my way back home to Maui. But instead of seeing this moment only as an inconvenience, I wanted to take a few minutes to share a quick thought.

This video is just a short reflection β€” a little opening to what is coming next.

I recorded this video from my hotel in Los Angeles, where I’ll be staying for about 15 hours before I can finally catch my flight back to Maui. After everything that happened in Las Vegas β€” the preparation, the competition, the emotions, the victories, the challenges, and everything in between β€” I needed a moment to breathe and process it all.

It’s not the full recap yet. It’s simply a quick thought from the road, between airports, hotels, flights, and the reality of being a competitor.

Sometimes the biggest lessons happen when the competition is already over.
