Today, we have a question from a BJJ coach who has a young, athletic Purple Belt, who is talking trash about his older Brown and Black Belt training partners.
He's talking trash about them, saying they don't deserve the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt they have.
The coach tried talking to the young purple belt and explained that the young guy and the older guys are in different stages of their lives, so you can't compare their BJJ journeys.
The coach asked me how I've communicated this reality to young competitors who may run into this issue.
I'll dig into the issue presented in the video and try to answer the question but let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
Thanks for watching.
