So today we have a question from a 40 year old BJJ White Belt, who is worried about being submitted in front of his coach.
In order to preserve his body, and prevent injury, he is turning down the intensity a bit in his BJJ rolling sessions.
The issue is, when he rolls with the young guys, they turn the pace up.
And so, he is worried his coach will see him losing to these young cats, and is worried that his coach, the BJJ Black Belt, might view him negatively as a result of these rounds with younger students.
He says "Is this something should or should not be worried about?"
I'll share my ideas on how coaches generally view progress and watch our students. Hopefully you found this video helpful.
Thanks for watching.
