I got a message from Neil recently, who is 4 year Black Belt, who has been "exposed" because he lost a bunch of weight.
He is making a mistake that a lot of Black Belts tell White Belts NOT to make, ironically, for their BJJ journey.
His message basically said, he lost a ton of weight in a short time for various reasons and his health is in a good place. But, as a result, he lost his top pressure. This sucks, cause he was an old school top pressure guy, and without the weight he is struggling.
He is now working on changing his game, but with the new techniques and style, he feels exposed in his Jiujitsu.
Hopefully you find this video helpful.
Thanks for watching.
