Hand Fighting Details to Finish Chokes & Avoid Arm Burn Out (Gi/No Gi)

From Chewjitsu

If you're able to take the back in BJJ, but you just can't finish the Rear Naked Choke or collar chokes, then I'm going to show you a really simple hand fighting detail that changed my back mount forever.

It's also simple enough that you can add to your next training session or competition to get more rear naked choke or collar choke finishes in BJJ.

This is something that I've used to develop a high rate of submission from the back in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both gi or no gi.

Hopefully you find this video helpful, and I hope it gets you more submissions from back mount.

Thanks for watching.

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
