Somehow, we made it. Starting a new business right before the world shut down was terrifying—I honestly thought we’d run out of money and go under like so many others. Seeing what friends went through with those endless, strict lockdowns in places like Australia was heartbreaking, and I feel so incredibly lucky that we were able to stay open. Somehow, in the middle of all that chaos, we somehow hustled our way into the top 100 places to eat in America according to Yelp. Still surreal to think about.
