Pandemic JiuJitsu Tutorial: Mount Drill Sequence and Transitions with Subs

From King Jiu-Jitsu

May 23, 2020

This is a complete tutorial on how to get from Mount to Scarf Hold and actively develop the mobility and stability to either advance your position and finish with the submission of your choice. You also get an escape option that works well.
Keep this in mind:
Position - Transition - Submission - Escape
Always work for an undertook, from either the top or the bottom. It allows for better control and position loss prevention.
I hope this helps and you can drill this at home or at the academy, on your own or drilling partner!
ENJOY and be SAFE!

PS: My phone had a bug and would not flip horizontally when I shot this and did this on the fly after teaching a Zoom Class!
Won't happen again :)

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
