Rob McCollum signed his son up for jiu-jitsu to get him into a sport. Then he realized the kid was going to start beating him… so he joined too.

Three and a half years later, the whole McCollum family trains at McHugh Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including his wife (and yes, she wins). In this video Rob talks about what jiu-jitsu has taught his kids about discipline and hard work, why a sport that humbles you is so valuable, and his advice for anyone nervous to step on the mat:
