Acts 8 — Part 2 | Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch
God directs Philip to a desert road, where he encounters an Ethiopian official reading the prophet Isaiah. The man’s question opens the door for Philip to explain the Scriptures and preach Jesus.
In this study of Acts 8:26–40, we follow Philip’s obedience, the Ethiopian’s desire to understand God’s Word, and the good news of Christ revealed through Isaiah’s account of the suffering servant. Their encounter leads to baptism, and the Ethiopian continues his journey rejoicing.
Join us as we continue our verse-by-verse study through Acts, examining how the gospel reaches beyond Jerusalem and Samaria to a traveler returning to Ethiopia.
