How I became a World Champion. Claudio had a super nice takedown that he was killing people with all day. He got me with it twice, with no problem and went up 4 points. He dominated the whole match. I remember thinking that a silver medal in the worlds isn't bad. But, with only seconds left in the match, with Claudio on my back the whole time, I tried to reach back for a last ditch effort Kimura armlock out of desperation. Claudio immediately countered my attempt with his own armlock attempt. Somehow, I was able to counter his counter, and ended catching a solid arm lock that ended the match definitively. A truly epic "sports moment" for me. I'll never forget it. (Warning - Supportive Profanity!!!) - Appreciated Nick!
