Nogi Worlds 2025 Part 2: Nobody Won, Everyone Paid

From The Lair

February 11, 2026

This is Part 2 of our trip to IBJJF No-Gi Worlds 2025 in Las Vegas, where competition, preparation, and team culture all come together.

Mike, Jeremy, and Tiffani are back on the mats as the tournament continues. Some matches go exactly as planned. Others test expectations. Along the way, there’s hardware coming home, lessons learned, and moments that remind you why competing at this level matters.

You’ll hear between-match conversations with Mike about mindset, pressure, and how competitors reset after one match and prepare for the next. It’s a look into how athletes manage stress and stay focused through long tournament days.

Between rounds, the cameras stay on. Hotel room drilling sessions, late-night conversations, and the kind of behind-the-scenes moments that only happen on team trips are all part of the process.

We also run into Rob Biernacki, founder of BJJ Concepts and a pioneer in online jiu jitsu education, along with Stephen Martinez, who somehow balanced late nights, injury, and elite-level performance in the same weekend.

The vlog closes with our final night in Vegas and the early-morning trip back home, wrapping up a week built on discipline, resilience, and shared experiences.

This series is about pushing limits, learning from every outcome, and enjoying the process along the way.

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
