From UNG Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

May 14, 2024

This is our first installment of our "Meet your Coaches" series for Underground Jiu-jitsu.

Today we are introducing Courtney Duva, Coach Duva, on what drew her to starting jiu-jitsu, why she is absolutely passionate about coaching our Little Warriors (ages 3 - 6), what you can find her doing outside of the school, and a few other items you may be surprised to learn about.

As always, if you would like to take advantage of a free trial class to see why Jiu-Jitsu has been the fastest growing martial art system for both kids and adults over the last decade, visit our website at underground-bjj.com and enter your information to request your trial class today.

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
