Proforce

Proforce is a U.S.-based martial arts equipment supplier that has been active in the broader combat sports industry for decades. Known for offering a wide range of gear, Proforce provides equipment not only for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but also for karate, taekwondo, and mixed martial arts. Its positioning is that of a dependable, mass-market brand catering to academies, gyms, and practitioners across multiple disciplines.

In the Jiu-Jitsu segment, Proforce is best recognized for its entry-level gis and training apparel. These products are designed to be durable, functional, and cost-effective, making them ideal for beginners or bulk purchases by academies. While it may not carry the same cultural or lifestyle cachet as niche BJJ-focused labels, Proforce’s strength lies in reliability and accessibility.

The company’s long history and extensive catalog highlight its role as a foundational player in martial arts retail. For Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, Proforce represents a straightforward, no-frills option that provides solid gear for training and competition at affordable price points.
