No restrictions to the number of participants per club per event / category. Competitors in Youth / Junior / Senior divisions must register in their own weight category.
Visually impaired athletes are invited to participate, and will compete in the regular divisions with minor modifications to the rules.
Fees
No refunds will be entertained for cancellation, no shows, or disqualification.
The current FIAS and AJJF rules and regulations will apply. Leg grabs (Ashitori) with one hand controlling the upper body, will be permitted (no direct leg attacks).
Armbars will be permitted for all divisions except 6 years and under. Armbars / Strangulation hold and Leglocks is permitted in the Youth, Junior and Senior divisions. The referee / judges will make the call for 16 years and under divisions.
Point system will be used for scoring. 6-point difference for 16 years and under and 8-point difference for Youth, Junior and Senior events.
Immediate win for standing throw with opponent falling fully on the back or via disqualification.
UWW Grappling rules for no Gi events.
Judo, Sambo and BJJ uniforms are acceptable as long as the sleeves reach the wrists. Sambo shoes are optional.
Long or short sleeved rash guard and shorts / tights for grappling.
Coaches / managers MUST be attired in collared tees/shirt and pants, to corner their athlete.
Protests and appeals may be filed to the chief juror immediately after a match, with a payment of .
9.1 There will be four (4) medals for individual categories: 1st, 2nd and joint 3rd.
9.2 Outstanding “Athlete Trophy" for each division (Decided by panel).
9.3 At least 1 match must be won to be eligible for a medal.
9.4 All participants will receive a participation souvenir, and e-certificate.
Immediate First Aid will be available at the venue. Conditions requiring further treatment, will be referred to the closest medical centre, at the athlete’s expense. Participants are strongly encouraged to have medical insurance specific to their needs.
While due care and diligence will be exercised, the organiser, its employees, stakeholders, and volunteers, will not be responsible for any incidents that may occur during the event. Participating clubs / organisations for securing the required waivers / indemnities from their members.
Visiting delegations are responsible for their airfare, board and lodgings, and local transportation. Contact us, if you require assistance.
