# 2026 State Games of America BJJ & Judo Championships

**Description:** The State Games of America is part of the National Congress of State Games (NCSG), a membership organization comprised of 30 Summer State Games and 10 Winter State Games organizations.  The NCSG is a member of the United States Olympic Committee's Multi Sport Organizational Council.

Keystone Games is honored to host the 2026 State Games of America at Penn State University!  With over 50 sports and expecting roughly 14,000 participants, the State Games of America boasts a festival like atmosphere and Olympic-style ceremonies full of pageantry and pride.

3rd Generation Jiu Jitsu, in partnership with the Keystone State Games and the United States Judo Association, is introducing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo competitions to the Games.

Saturday July 25:  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Sunday July 26:  Judo

BJJ Rules:

     Kids:

          IBJJF adult white belt rules with the exception of no ankle locks.  Double elimination.

     Adults:

          IBJJF rules (single elimination) w/FREE absolute (open weight) division for all weight-class competitors.

Weigh ins will be conducted IN THE GI.  Missed weight = forfeit of weight class w/o refund.  Absolute (open weight) is available for all adults (if interested, please sign up for it during registration!). Per IBJJF Rules, all gis must be white, royal blue or black.

Judo Rules:

     Current IJF Judo Rules

     Double elimination.

     Weigh ins will be conducted without the gi.  Missed weight = forfeit w/o refund.  A white Judo gi is required for all competitors.

Cost:

Last chance to edit registration is July 16th.  Check your weight and edit your weight class if necessary by July 16th.

No refunds.

Bracket start times will be published by midnight on July 19th.
