**WEIGHT CONTROL**

The weight control opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4
p.m. and in this time frame athletes can carry out the weight control whenever
they want but they must do it**at
least one hour before the start time
of their first match indicated on smoothcomp**(remember that the times
indicated on smoothcomp are estimated times that often vary during the tournament because they are updated in real time according to the duration of the matches
precedents).

**At the time of the weight check, athletes only need to
show an identity document.**

**In the No-Gi tournament, athletes must
weigh themselves wearing competition shorts and a rashguard that can be of any
color.**

**In the Gi tournament, athletes must weigh
themselves wearing the Gi-kimono with which they will fight, which can only be
all white or all royal blue or all black (children under 16 can also weigh
themselves without Gi-kimono).**

**Athletes registered for both the
No-Gi and Gi tournaments, can ask to consider this weight control valid for the Gi tournament (in the corresponding weight category which, considering the weight of the
kimono, is about 2-3kg higher) at the weight control for the No-Gi tournament.**

At the weight check, athletes who do not fall into the
weight category in which they have registered are disqualified from the weight
category tournament but**can still
participate in the Openweight**if they registered online and confirm their
participation.

Athletes
registered in Kid 1 (4-5 years of age) do not have a weight check but must
still go to the weight control table, accompanied by an adult, to confirm their
participation in the tournament.

Athletes
registered in categories without a weight limit must still present themselves
at the weight control table to confirm their participation in the tournament.

At the time
of the weight check all athletes registered for the Openweight must confirm
their participation otherwise they will be cancelled.

Athletes
who, after passing the weight control, are alone in their weight category, must
immediately go to the podium area and ask the Area Manager to be awarded.

After the end of each
weight check, athletes who have not shown up for the weight check are deleted
from both their weight category and any Openweight.

Athletes, after passing
the weight control, must check that the green dot appears next to their name on
smoothcomp (if the red dot appears, they must immediately return to the weight
control and ask to check why they cannot participate in the tournament with the red
dot).

**DURING THE TOURNAMENT – START OF THE MATCHES AND COURSE OF
THE TOURNAMENT**

All athletes and their coaches are invited to bring
smartphones and/or tablets with a fully charged battery to the competition
because they will have to independently access smoothcomp to check the start
times of their matches and the mat where they will have to show up to fight.

For this
reason, after the weight check, athletes must constantly check on smoothcomp
the estimated start times of their matches, which often vary because during
the competition they are updated in real time according to the duration of
previous matches, and the mat where they will have to fight (IMPORTANT:
athletes are NOT called to the mat with the loudspeaker).

Ten
minutes before the start time of their match, indicated
on smoothcomp, athletes must enter the competition area and report to the exact
mat indicated on smoothcomp where they are to play the match, positioning
themselves on the correct side of the Match Official at the table and waiting
in silence (in the
competition area it is strictly forbidden to incite and advise other athletes
while fighting).

The
athlete who stands above in the bracket (green/yellow color) must stand on the
side of the Officer's left arm at the table and wear the green/yellow belt in
the Gi tournament and the green/yellow ankle brace on the right ankle in the No-Gi
tournament. The athlete below in the bracket must position himself on the side of the
Officer's right arm at the table.

**At
the end of the match prior to the one they are to play, the athletes must present themselves to the Match Official at
the table, declare their surname and first name and ask for permission to get
on the mat to fight.**

The athlete who, at the end of the match prior to the one to be played,
does not present himself to the Match Official at the table or has not yet
carried out the weight check, is disqualified.

In the event that an athlete has to play matches on different mats at
the same time, he must ask the Match Official who is at the mat table of the
next match to postpone his match.

In the event that an athlete has to play a match within 5 minutes of the
end of his previous match,

you can ask the Match Official at the table to take advantage of a
5-minute stoppage time.

The athlete with the green/yellow belt or anklet must leave it on the
Match Official's table after the match.

After finishing their match,
the athletes must leave the competition area immediately.

Athletes
who withdraw from the competition for any reason must notify the Match Official
who is at the table of their mat.

After the end of the
tournament in their weight category, athletes participating in the Openweight should check on smoothcomp the estimated start time of
each of their Openweight matches and the mat where it will be played.

It
is strictly forbidden to consume food and drinks inside the competition area.

It
is strictly forbidden to get on the tatami with shoes.

**AWARDS**

**At the end of the final of each weight category, the first 4 classified
athletes (first, second and two thirds) must immediately go to the podium area and ask the person in
charge of the podium area to be awarded(athletes are not called to the
podium).**

**TOURNAMENT RULES**

For
everything that is not provided for in
these Regulations and in the Regulations of BJJ ITALIA - [https://bjjitalia.it/regolamento/](https://bjjitalia.it/regolamento/) -, the Rules for Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions of
the IBJJF apply but without the assignment of advantages (for children under 16
years of age the restrictions provided for by the BJJ ITALIA Regulations
apply).

At the first meeting, if possible, athletes from the
same Academy/Team will not be paired.

**TOURNAMENT UNIFORM**

**POINTS FOR ACADEMIES/TEAM RANKINGS AND RANKINGS FOR
THE SELECTION OF GI AND NO-GI NATIONAL TEAMS**

The Academies/Team Rankings (one in the Gi tournament
and one in the No-Gi tournament) and the Rankings for the selection of the
National Teams (Gi and No-Gi) are prepared based on**the results of the athletes in
their weight category and in the Openweight**, assigning the following
points:

·
**in
the Black Belts**:
125 points to the 1st ranked athlete, 50 points to the 2nd classified athlete,
25 points to the 3rd classified athletes (+ 15 points for each fight fought and
won and + 5 points for each finish);

·
**in
all other belts**:
25 points to the 1st ranked athlete, 10 points to the 2nd classified athlete, 5
points to the 3rd classified athletes (+ 3 points for each fight fought and won
and + 1 point for each finish);

·
**in
the Kid 1 age group (4-5 years of age):**3 points to all participating athletes.

If an
athlete is the only one registered in a weight category, he does not earn
points.

when registering for the tournament on smoothcomp and does not correct the error by

entered and not to the one to which he belongs.
