PRE-DATE WEIGH-IN (day before the event) Date: Friday, February 2nd, 2025 Place: EXHIBITION PLACE, Queen Elizabeth Bldg, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3 Time: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Athletes have to attend the weigh-in at the time given according to the event's deadline. Players will be placed in the next division available if they exceed the weight they have registered in. ON DATE WEIGH-IN OPTION 1 ( Event Day) Date: Saturday, February 3rd, 2025 Place: EXHIBITION PLACE, Queen Elizabeth Bldg, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3 Time: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m Athletes have to attend the weigh-in at the time given according to the event's deadline. Players will be placed in the next division available if they exceed the weight they have registered in. ON DATE WEIGH-IN OPTION 2 - BEFORE YOUR 1st MATCH Before his/her first fight, the athlete will check his/her weight. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make his/her weight, they will be immediately disqualified. Reasonable time will be given, therefore being late will not be tolerated. ADCC Opens are for all competitors - kids through masters, beginner through advanced, from any country. You do not need to qualify to compete in ADCC Opens. Registration corrections can be done by logging into your smoothcomp account. Registered competitors who are unable to compete due to illness, injury, or bereavement may request credit toward a future tournament up to 5 days prior to registration closing. Absolute divisions will all be single elimination. Kids (up to age 12): 4 minutes Teens and juveniles (age 13-17): 5 minutes Adults: 6 minutes Masters: 5 minutes Spectator tickets: $20 Spectator tickets will also be available at the door (cash only) **Close outs:**Teammates, friends, etc not having a real match if they meet in a bracket. **Sandbagging:**Signing up for a lower skill level or younger age group (masters signing up for adult is permitted). Please notify us if you see a competitor you suspect is sandbagging. Doing either of these may result in a permanent ban from all ADCC events, even on the first offense.
