The event is open for all countries. Maximum # of competitors: ADCC SWEDEN TOURNAMENT 10 will have a maximum of 210 competitors. When 210 competitors have registered and have an approved payment, the registration will be closed, even if this happens before the last registration date below. Pro only Adults (+18 years). Definition of experience classes Adults +18 years and Masters (+35 years) Beginner = Less than 2 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc. Intermediate = 2-4 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc. Advanced & Pro = More than 5 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc. Tournament system Adult +18 years & Masters (+35 years) (beginner, intermediate, advanced and pro) – Elimination tournament Fighting Time Beginner 5 minutes in ordinary fights (first 2,5 min without points) 6 minutes in the finals (first 3 min without points) Intermediate, Advanced and Pro 6 minutes in the ordinary fights (first 3 min without points) 8 minutes in the finals (first 4 min without points) Equipment Competitors compete in rashguard or tight t-shirt, shorts and/or tights (without pockets and zippers). Male competitors can compete shirtless. Optional gear: wrestling shoes, groin protection, mouth guard. Gear containing metal are prohibited. Classes If there is not enough grapplers in a class, classes will be merged. A class without enough grapplers will move up to the next weight class in the same experience category. Weight Classes Women: -50 kg, -55 kg, -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg and +70 kg Men: -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg, -76 kg, -83 kg, -91 kg, -100 kg, +100 kg Coaches Only coaches who register on the Smoothcomp event page will be able to pass gates and advice the athletes from the coach's corner. After succesful registration, all coaches will receive an approval e-mail. All coaches are obliged to be officially accredited at a time that will be defined. At the competition, only one coach from the academy will be llowed to stay in the coaching area (per mat). Number of coaches/academy depends on the number of competitors each academy have at the competition. 1 competitor = 1 coach, 2 competitors = 2 coaches, +3 competitors = 3 coaches. Maximum 3 coaches/academy. Competition payment Registration fee adults: 450 SEK Late registration fee adults and masters: 600 SEK Registration and payment All registration must be done via smoothcomp.com. In order to compete in ADCC Sweden tournament for grapplers under 18 years you need an exemption from the Swedish Submission Wrestling Federation. You can apply for the exemption if you are 15 years old or older by sending an e-mail containing the following information. - Name and birth date/id number - Academy - What discipline you are training and for how long you’ve been training and what level you’re at - Text telling – Hereby we are allowing the competitor (name and id number) to compete with adults at ADCC Sweden Tournament 10, 2023-11-04 in Eskilstuna, Sweden. Signed by coach, parents/guardian and organizer with: - Signing - Printed name - City - Date When you have the letter signed by coach and parents/guardian, scan it and e-mail it to tgsif@outlook.com.
