# ADCC Sweden Tournament 8 > Competition in Eskilstuna, Södermanland, Sweden | January 08, 2022 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** ADCC SWEDEN TOURNAMENT 8 is a grappling event in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The event is open for all countries. UPDATE ON COVID-19 On the current pandemic situation, the following rules apply for spectators, competitors and coaches. ***Spectators*** - Proof of Vaccination for all over 18 years. Bring identification and valid proof of vaccination. For Swedish citizen the proof of vaccination can be downloaded on covidbevis.se. - Kids under 18 years don’t need proof of vaccination but needs to be able to identify themselves or in guardian’s company. - Spectators will be shown an individual seat which are used during their attendance at the event. ***Competitors and coaches*** - No proof of vaccination is needed to stay in the competition area, locker rooms or warm up area. - Health declaration are performed at the weigh-ins. - Access to soap and water, disinfectant and face-mask. - After you are done competing we recommend you leave the area. - Competitors/coaches that have proof of vaccination can transfer to the stands and shown a seat for the rest of the event. You then become a spectator (see above). Pro only seniors (+18 years). Definition of experience classes Adults +18 years Beginner = Less than 2 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc. Intermediate = Less than 4 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc. Pro = More than 5 years experience in BJJ, Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, MMA etc. Tournament system Juniors 11-14 years (beginner and intermediate) – Elimination tournament with double elimination Juniors 15-17 years (beginner and intermediate) – Elimination tournament Adult 18+ years (beginner, intermediate and pro) – Elimination tournament Fighting Time Beginner 5 minutes in ordinary fights (first 2 min without points) 6 minutes in the finals (first 3 min without points) Intermediate 6 minutes in the ordinary fights (first 3 min without points) 8 minutes in the finals (first 4 min without points) Pro 6 minutes in ordinary fights (first 3 min without points) 8 minutes in the finales (first 4 min without points) Equipment Competitors compete in rashguard or tight t-shirt, shorts and/or tights (without pockets and zippers). Male competitors can compete shirtless. Optional gear: wrestling shoes, groin protection, mouth guard. Gear containing metal are prohibited. Classes If there is not enough grapplers in a class, classes will be merged. A class with not enough grapplers will move up to the next weigh class in the same experience category. Weight Classes Adult Women: -50kg, -55kg, -60kg and +60kg Men: -65,9 kg, -76,9 kg, -87,9 kg, - 98,9 kg, +99 kg Juniors Junior (11-14): -40 kg, -45 kg, -50 kg, -55 kg, +55 kg Junior (15-17): -55 kg, -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg, -75 kg, -80 kg, +80 kg Coaches One coach per academy free of charge. Coach registration is done via email, please send full name and academy to tgsif@outlook.com. Last day of coach registration is 2021-12-31. Competition payment Registration fee adults and masters: 300 SEK Late registration fee adults and masters: 400 SEK Registration fee girls & boys: 200 SEK Late registration fee girls & boys: 300 SEK Registration and payment All registration must be done via smoothcomp.com. Last day of cancel: 2022-01-05 23:59. Full refund: 2021-12-31 23:59. Half refund: 2022-01-05 23:59. No refunds if you don’t make weight. You can change weight class via Smoothcomp until 2022-01-05 23:59. Please note! If you don't make weight, tournament organisation will not move you to another weight class, and you will be disqualified. Spectators The doors open 30 minutes before competition starts. In order to compete in ADCC Sweden tournament for grapplers under 18 years you need an exemption from the Swedish Submission Wrestling Federation. You can apply for the exemption if you are 15 years old or older by sending an e-mail containing the following information. - Name and birth date/id number - Academy - What discipline you are training and for how long you’ve been training and what level you’re at - Text telling – Hereby we are allowing the competitor (name and id number) to compete with adults at ADCC 8 in Submission Wrestling, 2022-01-08 in Eskilstuna. Signed by coach, parents/guardian and organizer with: - Signing - Printed name - City - Date When you have the letter signed by coach and parents/guardian, scan it and e-mail it to tgsif@outlook.com. We will always approve your application. We will sign it and return it to the applicant as soon as possible.
