**Description:** This is a republican tournament open only to residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Athletes in the adult ‘advanced’ category who take first place may apply for the title of ‘Master of Sport,’ provided they have competed in at least three matches.

Held in Astana city, at the Beeline Arena.

Categories (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced. Except for the 4–5 and 6–7 age groups, which have a single unified division):

Boys 4–5 years (born 2020–2021): -15 kg, -18 kg, -21 kg, -24 kg, -27 kg, -30 kg, -33 kg, +33 kg.

Boys 6–7 years (born 2018–2019): -18 kg, -21 kg, -24 kg, -27 kg, -30 kg, -34 kg, -38 kg, +38 kg.

Boys 8–9 years (born 2016–2017): -22 kg, -25 kg, -28 kg, -31 kg, -35 kg, -39 kg, -43 kg, +43 kg.

Boys 10–11 years (born 2014–2015): -26 kg, -29 kg, -32 kg, -35 kg, -39 kg, -43 kg, -47 kg, -51 kg, +51 kg.

Youths 12–13 years (born 2012–2013): -30 kg, -34 kg, -38 kg, -42 kg, -47 kg, -52 kg, -57 kg, -63 kg, +63 kg.

Adult women 18+ (born 2007): -45 kg, -50 kg, -55 kg, -60 kg, -66 kg, -73 kg, +73 kg.

*During registration, the athlete’s year of birth is taken into account, not their actual age..

*One athlete is allowed to register in only one weight category (competing in two weight categories is not allowed, but competing in two age categories is permitted).

*If fewer than three athletes register in a weight category, it is merged with the next one until the minimum of three is met.

*Organizers reserve the right to intervene in athlete group assignments to prevent high‑level competitors from competing in beginner divisions.

***Beginners – athletes with less than two years of experience in grappling, Brazilian jiu‑jitsu, judo, sambo, freestyle or Greco‑Roman wrestling, and other combat sports. Not eligible:

‑ athletes with Candidate Master of Sport or Master of Sport ranks in wrestling disciplines;

‑ colored belt holders in jiu‑jitsu;

‑ past champions of BJJ and grappling tournaments, national‑level wrestling, MMA, pankration, combat sambo, or hand‑to‑hand combat (each case is considered individually; champions who won in brackets with fewer than three matches to title are not disqualified. Disqualification applies to athletes who have placed first twice in brackets in which they fought at least 3 matches).

* Intermediates – athletes with 2 to 4 years of experience in grappling, jiu‑jitsu (children: grey and yellow belts; adults: blue and purple belts), MMA, judo, sambo, freestyle, Greco‑Roman and other wrestling disciplines.

* Advanced – athletes with more than 4 years of experience in grappling, jiu‑jitsu (children: orange and green belts; adults: brown and black belts), MMA, judo, sambo, freestyle, Greco‑Roman and other wrestling disciplines.

Registration in a skill category inconsistent with the athlete’s actual level will result in disqualification.

PRIZES

All athletes placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd will receive commemorative medals and diplomas.

The total prize fund for the top three teams is 13,000,000 KZT.

No points are awarded if there is only one athlete registered in the bracket.

Points Calculation
All points earned by the team’s athletes across all categories are added up.
The team with the highest number of points is declared the winner of the team ranking.

REGISTRATION

*If registration limits are exceeded (1200), it may close earlier than the stated deadline.

*Registration fees are non‑refundable after the closing date.

*An athlete is considered registered only after payment is received.

*After registration closes, athletes who missed registration may contact the organizers at 87074443410 to request a missed-entry registration (only before weigh‑in). The fee is $100.

  Refund Policy

Refunds are available only before registration closes.

95% of the payment amount will be refunded.

PARTICIPATION FEE

Please make your tournament payment through PayPal. To do this:

Payment is available with all major debit and credit cards, and no PayPal account is required.

Coaches must also register on www.smoothcomp.com. Coaches not registered will not be allowed in the warm‑up or competition areas.

Photo requirements:

‑ The face must occupy 70–80 % of the photo.
‑ No team logos, group photos, or full‑body shots are allowed.
Athletes and coaches whose profile photo does not meet requirements will not be admitted to competition.

WEIGH‑IN

Weigh‑in will take place in shorts and a T‑shirt. Overweight allowances:

Up to 1 kg for ages 4–11; up to 500 g for ages 12–15; no overweight allowed for ages 16–17.

*If an athlete does not meet the declared weight category, they may be moved to the appropriate category with a penalty fee of 50 % of the registration cost.

Weigh‑in will be conducted by teams strictly according to the schedule.

COMPETITION

Venue: Astana city, Beeline Arena

11.10.2025 — categories 4–5, 6–7, 8–9, 10–11, 12–13 years. Start at 09:00.
12.10.2025 — categories 14–15, 16–17, +18, +30, +35, +40. Start at 09:00.

***Attention!!! During the competition, every participant must be present in the warm‑up zone according to schedule (schedule times may shift). If a participant fails to appear within 2 minutes after being announced while their opponent is on the mat, the no‑show athlete will be disqualified. Each athlete/coach is responsible for timely arrival to the competition area.

***Every participant must comply with AIGA dress code.

Permitted attire:

• Shorts;
• Rashguard or T‑shirt (no bare torso allowed);
• Elastic tight-fitting lower tights (tights) extending below the knee.

Uniform requirements:

Rashguard/T‑shirt: men and women must wear a form-fitting shirt or rashguard covering the torso, with hem no longer than the shorts.

Shorts: length must reach at least mid-thigh (no more than 10 cm above knee). No pockets, buttons, plastic or metal zippers allowed.

Tights: elastic lower tights, skin-tight, must extend below the knee.

Knee or ankle supports allowed only if free of metal or plastic parts.

Forbidden: shoes, headgear, hair clips, jewelry, protective cups or other hard protective gear that could harm others or the wearer.

Long hair must be tied with a soft band or braided. Wearing a hijab is allowed.

Nails on hands and feet must be trimmed short.
