The AVA OKANAGAN SUBMISSION GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP is a Central Tournament and will be ranked in the Season 2026 with
Capacity: 400 Registrations
The Legendary Title Qualifiers Divisions is an open-rank, open-weight category for Masters athletes aged 30+.
This division is designed for top-performing Masters competitors pursuing the LEGENDARY Title, awarded annually at AVA THRONE.
AVA is a submission-only, round robin tournament with AVA overtime.
Each Adult competitor may enter up to six divisions, while Youth competitors may enter a maximum of four, while each Youth competitor is invited to enter up to four divisions.
Tournament Date:
*Competitors: Please be at your mat number 10min before your scheduled first match.
· $95 Early Bird (Deadline July 27, 2025)
· $110 Normal (Deadline September 7, 2025)
· $110 Late (Deadline September 21, 2025)
· $50 for additional Divisions
Athletes may purchase Refund Protection Insurance for $10 at the time of registration. This coverage allows a full refund up to the day before the tournament in the event of injury, travel delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Refund Protection must be purchased during registration and is non-refundable once issued.
1. Refunds minus a 5% service fee and credits are available through self-service until the normal registration deadline. From the normal registration deadline until the late registration deadline, ONLY coupon credits will be provided as compensation.
2. Refunds and credits will not be available AFTER the late registration deadline (Sept. 21).
3. Refunds and credits will not be issued for no-shows or withdrawal from participation due to sickness, injuries, or bereavement AFTER the registration closing date (Sept. 21), regardless of supporting evidence.
4. If a participant is left without a match-up, they will receive a FULL REFUND or credit. Alternatively, they may choose to collect ranking points for the season along with the award.
New to Jiu-jitsu? We have a 6 months and under White Belt Division to give new competitors the chance to compete fairly against other competitors new to Jiu-Jitsu.
Staring season 2026, coach signups at the door will no longer be available.
All coaches must register online in advance to receive a coach pass. Coaches who are not registered by the deadline will be required to pay the regular spectator fee. 1 coach is allowed for every 3 competitors, with a maximum of 7 coaches per academy.
Registration deadline is 5 days before the tournament.
