# BJJ Dutch Open NO-GI 2023

Weigh in from 9.00 - 12.00

First matches begin at 10.00

Register for Open Class directly after medal ceremony at the weigh in

End of the event at 17.00

The brackets will serve as a simple elimination system (K.O. system), where the losing athlete from each match is eliminated and the winner goes through to the next stage of the bracket. Brackets can be combined into one bracket if there are not enough registrations.

Brackets have a maximum capacity, and can be merged together if there are not enough registrations.

5 minutes - Female and Male White belts

6 minutes - Female and Male Blue belts

7 minutes - Female and Male Purple belts

10 minutes - Female and Male Brown/Black belts

Weigh-in from 9.00 - 12.00 in full gear (no stripping down to make weight).

**ZERO TOLERANCE:**If you didn't make weight, you will be disqualified as a Walk-Over.

**EVERY COMPETITOR**has to check in at the weigh-in, even Ultra Heavy, to verify your presence.

Please note that you can switch weight/belt division untill thursday June 11th.

Finger and toe nails will be checked too at the weigh-in.

All participants have to wear a ranked rashguard: [IBJJF Uniform Requirements](https://ibjjf.com/uniform)

Both genders must wear a shirt of elastic material (skin tight) long enough to cover the torso all the way to the waistband of the shorts, colored black, white, or black and white, and with at least 10% of the rank color(belt) to which the athlete belongs. Shirts 100% the color of the athlete’s rank (belt) are also permitted.

Note: For black belts a small red area will be tolerated, but must not decharacterize the athlete’s rank color.

Use of any foot gear, headgear, hair pins, jewelry, cups (genital protectors), or any other protector fashioned of hard material that may cause harm to an opponent or the athlete him/herself is forbidden. Also forbidden is the use of eyes protectors, even if they are made for sports practices.

Stay updated before and during the tournament on Smoothcomp, follow the live brackets on the screens or on your phone. It is your own responsibility to show up on time at the Warming Up Area. After registration it will not be able to get your registration fee back, everything will be used to organize the best tournament possible.

Coaches can register for €1,- entrance, 1 coach per academy/gym.  No one is allowed to coach at the mats, everyone has to stay behind the fences.

Visitors are welcome, €5,- entrance fee.
