**Description:** The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Finnish Open 2018 is a two-day competition held on April 14-15, 2018. The Finnish BJJ Federation (FBJJF) offers travel sponsorships to the IBJJF Mundial 2018 for champions of specific weight and absolute categories, with amounts up to 800 euros. This sponsorship is a reimbursement for verified travel costs. Black belts unable to qualify for the Mundial can use their sponsorship for other competitions within the year.

The tournament features various male and female belt categories, with IBJJF official rules applied, including specific fight times per belt. A "Best Academy" award will be given based on accumulated points. Weigh-ins are conducted with the kimono before the first fight.

Participation fees vary by enrollment date, and Finnish participants are required to have an SBJJL license. Spectator tickets are available for 10€ per day.
