**Description:** The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Finnish Open 2019 is a competition held on April 13th-14th, 2019, at the Tikkurila Trio Sport Center in Vantaa, Finland.

The Finnish Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (FBJJF) offers significant travel sponsorships. Champions of specific blue, purple, and brown/black belt weight categories (including women's blue and purple/brown/black belts) will receive €800. Additionally, champions of all absolute categories will receive €400. These sponsorships are reimbursements for travel costs to major international competitions like the IBJJF Mundial, UAEJJF Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, or Abu Dhabi Grand Slam - Moscow.

The competition follows official IBJJF rules, with specific fight times for different belt levels. Athletes must adhere to Finnish anti-doping guidelines. An award will be given to the best academy based on accumulated points.
