# Escape Submission Grappling Series > Competition in Cannonvale, Queensland, Australia | March 27, 2026 – March 28, 2026 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Escape Submission Grappling Series presented by Fleming Painters is focused on providing a safe & professional platform for all grapplers to showcase their skills without the worry of high registration fees.  Our facility has pit walls on two sides of the mat - this means less resets, more action and a chance for our athletes to experience the excitement of competing in a modern pit style format.  Our tournament is round robin & submission only, as our goal is to keep the matches fast paced and encourage all athletes to chase the finish.  Women's intermediate open weight division- To showcase the many talented up-and-coming female athletes in our region, we're running a single elimination tournament with a cash prize of $300, winner takes all. This women's tournament will follow our intermediate rules and is also open to juvenile athletes, including all belts up to and including Purple Belt. INDOOR EVENT Our amazing facility is fully air-conditioned.
