# Gi BJJ Round Robin - Kings MMA - Cash Prizes! > Competition in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia | May 07, 2022 – June 25, 2022 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Register early for discounted registration fee! Registrations are available to male and female adults. Equal prize money.  Winner of each Round Robin weight division; wins $50 Winner of the White/Blue Belt Knockout Open Weight bracket; wins $100 Winner of the Purple-Blackbelt Knockout Open Weight; wins $500   Rules:  No points no problems! This comp is sub only.  Legal and illegal techniques will be followed by belt per IBJJF Standards.  The Purple-Black Belt open weight will follow the Blackbelt rank rules per IBJJF allowing various leg locks such as kneebars and toeholds (no...you can never heel hook in the gi you soul-less bastard).  Gi's that will pass: Ones that look like a BJJ gi (don't stress about being super restrictive on patch placement etc. Just wear a gi that fits you) Gi's that won't pass: Kids gi on an adult, stained or smelly gi, light cotton taekwondo gi, sambo just gi top and shorts, Borat's "Mankini". Doors open at 9:30am Rules meeting at 10am* Fights start at 10:30am  *Any athlete not present for rules meeting will be scratched and their registration fee forfeited to people who can be on time to events.  Single or two athlete divisions may be combined with the nearest weight class to enable you to have more fights at organizer discretion.  Needless to say you have until registration close date to move to a bracket you prefer.
