Doors Open @ 8:00am | Event Starts @ 9:00am

FORMAT and PROTOCOL: The Gorilla Cup will follow Double Elimination formatting meaning that all competitors get at least two (2) matches for signing up.

THIS TOURNAMENT IS PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!

We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event!

Registration closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026.

Early Registration Fee: $30/person (Until April 24th)

Late Registration Fee: $40/person (After April 24th)

Spectator Fee: $5 per person or $20 for immediate family

Merchandise: Gorilla Cup t-shirts and other merchandise will be available at the event.

CHANGING DIVISIONS: You will have until 11:59pm the day registration closes to make any changes to your registration. You can make these changes by logging into your account and modifying your registration details. After this change deadline, your registration will become locked in, and there will no further changes allowed.

WEIGH-INS: Takes place on the day of the event upon your arrival to the event. You WILL have to weigh-in with your gi on. You must make weight for your division or else you will be disqualified. We ask that you make sure to be present in the venue at least 30 minutes prior your division start time as well in case we are able to get head starts on certain divisions. Real time can be followed via Smoothcomp.

COACHES and CROWD CONTROL: We will have one chair on each side of every score table, one for each coach of the competitor on the mat. The only other people allowed behind the mats during the tournament are the competitors on the mat having their match and the competitors on deck.

MEDALS: Beautiful gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to all podium finishers.

MEDIC ON HAND: There will be a trained and professional medic on sight that we can trust with the safety of our competitors whether they need ice, get injured, or need advice on previous injuries.

CONCESSIONS: There will be concessions on site for this event.
