# Holy City Sub-Series 2021Youth-Only Event > Competition in Garden, Michigan, United States | October 30, 2021 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** **Youth Tournament** In the spirit of Halloween, all youth competitors are encouraged to dress up in their favorite superhero, villain or character costume! *PLEASE SEE COSTUME/EVENT GUIDELINES BELOW* Staff members will be welcome, and encouraged, to dress up as well and we’ll have different candy stations setup at every event table for the kids to trick-or-treat at during the event. Please remember, although we are having a theme for the youth tournament, this is still a Southeastern Grappling Association event and all stats, wins/losses, etc… will still be recorded to each competitor’s Smoothcomp profile. COSTUME/EVENT Guidelines **Costumes** - NO MAKEUP/FACEPAINT allowed until after the competitor’s last match. - NO capes, jewelry, masks, hats, tiaras, dresses, etc… are to be worn during the competitor’s match. This is still a tournament and the safety of our competitors is the number one priority so anything that wouldn’t be allowed during a regular event, are not allowed during this one as well. If your child is not competing or has finished competing, then by all means, dress to impress! - Parents and coaches are welcome to be in full costume the entire time😊. **Event** - There will be a lot of sugar in the event space… please be mindful of the venue and pick up after yourself and make sure that all trash ends up in the provided trash cans spread throughout the space. - Other than that, everything will be run just as any other SEGABJJ event so expectations remain the same. Divisions with only two competitors will follow a Best of Three format. Tournament t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event. In the event there is no suitable combination available for your division, you will be notified and your registration refunded. REFUNDS: Refunds will be issued until the end of the Early Bird Registration deadline. Coupon/vouchers for future Southeastern Grappling Association events will be issued from Early Bird Registration deadline up to 24hrs before the event start time. No refunds or vouchers will be issued after 24hr deadline. BRACKETS and SCHEDULE: Brackets and division schedule will be posted before the event start date. The brackets and schedule can be checked on the event page through your web browser or mobile device. Southeastern Grappling Association provides a large screen TV displaying the current, in-progress and upcoming matches with estimated start times at each event. If a competitor is not present at their bracket’s assigned ring, a courtesy announcement will be made. If a competitor does not show up to their ring in a reasonable amount of time they will be disqualified from the bracket. The competitor is allowed to participate in any remaining brackets they are scheduled in for the remainder of the event. This is NOT a submission-only event.
