We have created this Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition for our own children who train at Ground Control BJJ, but we believe that every child matters and deserves the opportunity to experience the world of competition. In our community, many families cannot afford the usual BJJ competition fees, which has inspired us to organise this event. Our goal is to ensure that all young people, regardless of their background, get the chance to compete, learn, and grow through this sport. By making the event accessible and affordable, we hope to spread the benefits of BJJ to as many children as possible, empowering them with life skills that go far beyond the mat.

The competition will take place at Ground Control BJJ in Huddersfield and is specifically designed for young people at this stage. We are launching this event as a trial, with the hope of expanding it in the future to include adults as well. Our goal is to provide an affordable and valuable competition experience for the youth in our community, ensuring that all young people, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. By starting with this youth-focused event, we aim to build a strong foundation for future competitions that can benefit everyone.
