# Jakarta Spring Open 2024 - Adults & Masters Gi and No Gi Tournament > Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia | April 27, 2024 – April 28, 2024 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Jakarta Spring Open 2024 - Adult & Masters Gi and Adult & Masters No Gi Tournament For 2024 we have planned to have 7 main events, with our first event on 27th and 28th April which will be focused on an Adult and Masters Gi and No Gi Tournament. Along with this, we will host this as a 2 day event, with 28th April being specifically focused on Kids Gi as we believe this is the future growth of our amazing sport. All rulings for both tournaments will be following IBJJF rules, which we strongly advise that you familiarize yourselves with all of the rules and updates that are applicable to your grade and category. Ampera Raya No.1a, RT.4/RW.4, Cilandak Tim., Ps. Minggu, Kota Jakarta Selatan, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 12560 Prices: Early Bird (ends 03/03) - IDR 550,000 ( $35 ) Normal registration (ends 20/04) - IDR 650,000 ( $42 ) Late registration (ends 23/04) - IDR 750,000 ( $47 ) Schedule for the day: * Doors Open - 8:00am (approx) * Weigh-Ins - 8:00am/8:15 (approx) * Spectators - 8:30am (approx) * Bouts Start - 9:00am (approx) Our plan for the competition is to host the following: **GI - ADULT & MASTERS MALE AND FEMALE:*(ADULT 18 - 30, MASTERS 30 +)*** *White, blue, purple, brown and black belts divisions* NB - we will combine Female Adult and Masters **BLACK BELT COMPETITORS WILL COMPETE FOR FREE!** **NO GI - ADULTS & MASTERS MALE AND FEMALE*(ADULT 18 - 30, MASTERS 30 +)*** *White, blue, purple, brown and black belts* NB - we will combine Female Adult and Masters ***NB - if you only train in No Gi - please see the guidance below on which division to register in.*** Novice: Up to 6 months (white belts only). Beginner: >6 months – 2 years (white belts only). Intermediate: >2-5 years, or blue belt. Advanced: Over 5 years, or purple belt and above. Professional: Brown and Black belts TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY By applying to fight and compete at a BJJ League event, you are automatically accepting the terms and conditions of the entry below:- * No Entries will be taken on the day. * All registration changes must be submitted on Smoothcomp by Saturday 20th April.**No changes will be accepted after this date.** **PLEASE MESSAGE US AFTER PAYMENT WITH CONFIRMATION BEFORE WE CAN APPROVE YOU - A SCREENSHOT OF PAYMENT AND THE NAME OF THE ATHLETE IS SUFFICIENT ATHLETE RESPONSIBILITIES: * It is the responsibility of the athlete to register in the correct age, belt and weight division, and please check this upon receipt of your invoice. * Any athlete that does not make weight on the day will not be allowed to change divisions * if you have time to make weight then you can do so, if not you will be disqualified. * It is the responsibility of the athlete to be on time, divisions will run on time when possible, but could be earlier than advertised, so if you miss your call from the announcing team and runners, you will miss your match, therefore will be disqualified. * Any athlete who has proven to be a black belt in judo, has fought MMA professionally, has an amateur MMA record or has proven experience in wrestling, Olympic wrestling or Greco-Roman wrestling, can not participate in any league as a white belt. Proven experience in the U.S. consists of having competed at the collegiate level or higher and in other countries, having competed in nationwide events. * All medalists will be able to register on the day for the Absolute Division. This is FREE and will take place after all divisions have completed. We will only hold Absolute divisions for over 18's divisions (Adult, and Masters - Male and Female) REFUND/CREDIT POLICY: NO TRANSFER OF ENTRANCE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE *We have added the possibility to withdraw from the event and gain a full refund in the form of credit vouchers if you withdraw more than 7 days before the event on Smoothcomp.*Anything less than 7 days before the event, you are not entitled to an event credit or refund. On this historical 2 day event, for the first time in Indonesia, we would like to invite those who are not competing to participate and support your teammates who are competing.
