IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFO

ALL competitors MUST bring a form of identification with proof of age such as birth certificate, State ID, or IBJJF card. This is needed to ensure fairness and uphold the integrity of the event. Copies or pictures of Birth Certificate in phone are okay.

**BRACKETS:**

Boys and girls 12 and under will compete together in mixed brackets. Teen/Juvenile males and females will compete separately.

Round Robin style for groups of 3- 5

If there are only two competitors in a bracket then the winner will be decided by best of 3 matches

**WEIGH -INS**

Weigh-ins will take place the day of the tournament between 8:00 - 8:45 am.

ONLY 0.9lbs weight allowance, so please REGISTER FOR THE ACCURATE WEIGHT CLASS to AVOID disqualification. Competitors that miss weight will be removed from their bracket. They may get set up with an exhibition match, but there is no guarantee.

**RULES:**

Submissions: IBJJF Legal Techniques

Match Scoring/Wins**:**IBJJF point system except No Advantages. In case of a tie, the competitors will get 1-minute overtime to be the first to score. First person to score wins the match. If no one scores in overtime, then Referee will make a decision based on the match and overtime performance.

3-way tie in Round Robin:Podium placement will be determined by Submission(s), points scored, head-to-head, fastest victory

**AWARDS**

Kids Battle Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. There will be NO DOUBLE 3rd in brackets with more than 3 participants
