About This Event

This prestigious event is open to competitors of all ages and experience levels, including kids, teenagers, juveniles, across all belt divisions.

This competition offers an exceptional opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their skills, challenge themselves, and experience the empowering spirit of Jiu-Jitsu.

All competitors must possess a current NZBJJF membership to participate in this event. Membership is mandatory for entry into all NZBJJF events nationwide.

The NZBJJF adheres to the IBJJF guidelines for calculating competitor age groups based on their birthdate (as of December 31st of the event year).

Weight divisions for both Gi & No-Gi will be based on net weight, with appropriate allowances for the Gi. For instance, in the 79kg Gi division, the net weight must be under 79kg, and the total gross weight (including the Gi) must not exceed 82.3kg.

To avoid any inconvenience or disappointment on the day of the event, please ensure that children are registered in the correct weight division.
