# Lockdown 66 > Competition in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia | March 23, 2024 – March 24, 2024 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** A division for everyone – catering to all levels of experience and knowledge. Lockdown Series strives to provide a fair and even competitive platform for the first timer, the weekend warrior, and the veteran. Lockdown Competitions are conducted in either an MMA arena or on a 6m x 6m mat space ADULT & COLTS MATCHES WILL BE CONTESTED AS FOLLOWS: 1 x 5-minute round. If there is no determined winner, both competitors will be given a 1-minute break with the subsequent overtime/eliminator round will be 3 minutes. KIDS MATCHES WILL BE CONTESTED AS FOLLOWS: 1 x 3-minute round. If there is no determined winner, both competitors will be given a 1-minute break with the subsequent overtime/eliminator round will be 2 minutes. Weigh-ins will be open for Fifty (50) minutes. Athletes will be disqualified in their division if they weigh in heavier than the weight listed for the division they registered in. The competition divisions and order will be divided by weight and experience level of the competitors as decided by the officials. Divisions can be combined by the promotion and competitors will be notified prior to the event. Registration for our event closes one week prior to the competition to facilitate organizers in assessing competitors' rank and length of training experience. This allows us to ensure that each participant is placed in the appropriate division based on their skill level. Novice competitors, defined as those with under a combined 18 months of submission grappling training or other grappling disciplines, will compete in their designated category. Intermediate competitors, possessing between 18 to 36 months of submission grappling training and experience, will be placed accordingly. Advanced competitors, demonstrating 36 months of submission grappling training or similar disciplines, will compete in the advanced division. If experience division are combined the competitors will compete at the lowest skill division rule set. Any false information provided during registration such as, but not limited to, date of birth, experience, may lead to immediate disqualification. Such actions are subject to suspension or even banishment from future events. All the medals should be picked up at the event's podium. Lockdown Grappling Series does not mail out unclaimed or lost medals after the competition. No close-outs or fake matches. If a match is deemed to be fake, athletes will be disqualified & forfeit prize. We cannot guarantee athletes will show up for the tournament. Therefore, we will not refund athletes who end up without a match due to a no-show of his/her opponent on the day. *EXCEPTION - On the tournament's Registration Check day (Thursday before event) athletes who we are unable to get matches for in their division will be notified that they are eligible to receive a full refund of their registration. This Refund is normally processed within seven days of the tournament. To ensure that the reputation and image of the Tournament is protected and that all Participants and the public are respected, content of any type that is inappropriate, offensive or otherwise unlaw full must not be displayed or transmitted on social media. Examples of such content includes, but is not limited to content that is discriminatory, vilifies, offensive, threatening, stalking, harassing or bullying any individual or group of individuals.
