# Lutador NoGi Championship 2024

## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** Lutador No Gi Trials is a qualifying tournament for the Lutador No Gi Championship event.

When and Where: Lutador Trials will be held on Sunday, April 21 in a space to be defined. The event will be behind closed doors and broadcast via streaming. Lutador Championship will be held at Club Peppers on Saturday, June 8 at 7PM.

Rules and Time: The rules are ADCC. During Lutador Trials the fights will be 6 minutes, During Lutador Championship the fights will be 10 minutes.

Categories: There is no division by level, only a division of weights. 2 categories -76k and +76k. Space is limited to a maximum of 64 competitors per category.

Registration for the event costs $30, which will go untouched into the prize pool. With this collection, the first 8 places in each category will be awarded with a prize structure with the following percentages:

The maximum payout for first place is around $1,000 in cash for the winner of each category and $400 for second place.

As an additional incentive, the champions of each category will qualify for a fight for an additional prize of $500 to the absolute winner and best pound-for-pound grappler in Costa Rica.
