About This Event
We were born from the need to create an accessible tournament for all Jiujiteros in Costa Rica. Our event brings together the Lutador Invitational and BJJ Kids Costa Rica brands, ensuring the right balance of experience, quality, and—most importantly—fair pricing.
Lutador Invitational, led by Ricardo Guerrero (Black Belt), has earned recognition for its successful invitational events. With his extensive experience as both instructor and referee, Ricardo is committed to providing competitors with a fair, transparent, and professional competition that truly benefits the sport.
BJJ Kids Costa Rica, led by Daniel Campos (Parent and Organizer), returns after three years with the same mission that drove its seven previous tournaments (2017–2019), which brought together more than 1,000 young athletes. The goal remains unchanged: to offer a solidarity-driven tournament where sportsmanship is placed above economic profit—allowing students from all backgrounds to grow, both personally and athletically, through Jiu Jitsu. Daniel firmly believes Jiu Jitsu is one of the greatest legacies parents can pass on to their children.
