Welcome to a new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament Circuit
entitled NAGA Battleground Inc. (NBG).
NBG, while similar in some respects, is an entirely separate company from the
North American Grappling Association (NAGA).
NBG aims to provide competitors with a healthy, fair, and secure
competition environment at an affordable price.
NBG BJJ events have Gi & No-Gi Divisions for children, teens,
and adults. Gi & No-Gi divisions
will follow traditional BJJ point scoring systems with some minor
differences. NBG also allows competitors
to fight multiple times, even if they lose their 1st match.
$70 - Register by 3/7/25 (Early Bird Registration)
$90 - Register by 3/14/25 (Normal Registration)
$120 - Register by 3/21/25 (Final Registration)
* Extra Divisions including Absolute are $30 each
Children under 5 are free. Children 6-12 will be $10, and all other spectators will be $15 each in
advance or at the door.
NAGA Battleground is excited to offer money prizes at all our 2025 events to the winners of the Men’s and Women’s Expert No-Gi Absolute divisions. To be eligible for the money prize, a competitor must participate in both their weight class division and the absolute division. For prize money to be awarded, the division must have at least four competitors.
*All absolute divisions are single elimination.
NAGA Battleground is seeking impartial referees who have a
comprehensive understanding of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rule set. The referees'
responsibilities will be confined to interviewing competitors and officiating
both No-Gi and Gi matches throughout the event.
