-Weigh-ins will take place on Saturday only.
-Event will start at 9:30 am sharp.
-You must weigh in 60 minutes prior to your division. If you are late for weigh-ins, you WILL be disqualified and NO voucher or refund will be given. So, please consider drive time, traffic and time to find parking as these will NOT be valid reasons for missing weigh-ins.
-You do not have to weigh in with your Gi on.
-You only have to weigh in once, even if participating in multiple divisions.
-We have a 1 pound allowance policy.
-For competitors 16 years of age and older: you WILL be disqualified and NO refund or voucher will be given.
-For competitors 15 years of age and under: we will do our best to accommodate you and move you into a new bracket. THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED. If there are no available fights, we will provide a voucher for future use but NO refunds will be given.
-You can access a full list of competitors by visiting the event page and clicking on the “Registrations” tab.
-This is a REAL-TIME list that updates automatically as competitors register.
-You can make changes to your registration until 11:59 PM on the day of the final registration deadline (Tuesday prior to the event).
-Log into your account to make any necessary changes.
-If the final registration deadline passes and you do not like where you are bracketed, you can cancel your registration before 12 pm on the Friday prior to the event and receive a credit for a future event.
-Brackets and the event schedule will be posted on the Thursday prior to the event.
-You can access these by visiting the “Brackets & Schedule” tab.
-A REAL-TIME schedule by bracket and REAL-TIME schedule by match order will be featured on large TV monitors at the event allowing you access to the most up-to-date information available.
-During the event, you will be able to access this information from your mobile device.
-Competitors must be in Fighter Bullpen 15 minutes prior to your match time.
-Please be ON TIME to your designated mat to keep the tournament running on time.
-Waiting on coaches not only holds up a single competitor’s match but has a domino effect on the rest of the event. It is for this reason that we will no longer wait on coaches to finish at one mat before beginning a match at another. Please keep this in mind when planning on the number of coaches to bring to each event.
-Coach’s passes will be provided free of charge depending on the number of competitors from your school.
-3-10 competitors: 2 Coach’s Passes
-11-15 competitors: 3 Coach’s Passes
-16-20 competitors: 4 Coach’s Passes
-21+ competitors: 5 Coach’s Passes
-For competitors on the mat that are ages 11 and under, we will allow one coach per competitor inside the barricades.
-For competitors 12 years of age and over, we will NOT allow any coaches inside the barricades.
-If you need to bring more coaches than the number of passes provided, they are available for purchase for $5.00 each at the door.
-Parents are NOT allowed to purchase coach’s passes unless there is not a coach from your academy present.
-Results are REAL-TIME and will be automatically posted on the TV monitor at the awards booth beside the podium as well as on the event page.
-The Tournament Team winners that place first in both the youth and adult divisions will be awarded custom banners as well as a beautiful large Trophy Cup. Trophies may vary depending on the event but they are always of the highest quality.
-Medals, Swords and Championship Belts will be distributed to the winners as follows:
-Ages 4-11 - Novice NoGi and Novice White belt Gi first place winners: Gold Medal
-Ages 4-17 - Beginner and Intermediate NoGi first place winners: Sword
-Ages 4-17 - White, Grey and Yellow belt Gi first place winners: Sword
-Ages 6-17 - Advanced NoGi first place winners: Championship Belt
-Ages 10-17 - Orange and Green belt Gi first place winners: Championship Belt
-Ages 18+ - Advanced NoGi first place winners: Championship Belt
-Ages 18+ - Purple, Brown and Black belt Gi first place winners: Championship Belt
-As always, second & third place winners in any age group, skill level or weight class will receive a Custom NEWBREED Medal.
