Newbreed is coming to Tiverton, Rhode Island for the very first time ever, and we’re bringing the energy, excitement, and elite competition with us on June 27, 2026! This historic debut marks a major milestone as we expand into the Ocean State’s growing grappling community—known for its strong martial arts culture, coastal grit, and passionate athletes.
No matter your experience or age, there’s a division for you. Whether you’re stepping onto the mats for the first time or you’re a seasoned competitor, we offer divisions tailored to every skill level in both gi and no-gi. This is your opportunity to represent your academy, test your abilities, and shine in front of a new regional crowd.
Your dedication deserves recognition, and we deliver. The top three athletes in every division will earn custom medals to commemorate their achievement and hard work.
For elite competitors in our advanced divisions, the ultimate prize awaits. First-place champions will be crowned with the prestigious NJJF Championship Belt, symbolizing skill, determination, and dominance on the mats.
Team points will determine the top three academies in youth and adult divisions, along with the overall team champion. Celebrate your team’s success with an award banner worthy of display back home. First-place teams will take home a custom trophy honoring their collective excellence.
