# PEI MMA - Kids BJJ Tournament

**Description:** **Spectators - Please Note:**Spectators will be charged a $5+hst entry fee at the door. This can be paid in cash or e-transfer to info@peimma.com - please show confirmation email to staff at the door.

**Rules**

Kids divisions, 9 years old and Under - No submissions permitted; points only. No body triangle for control or submission.

Kids divisions, 10 - 12 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for kids under 12 (no omoplatas, guillotines, pulling the head in a triangle, or anything below the waist). No body triangle for control or submission.

Kids divisions, 13 - 15 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for kids/youth under 12 (no omoplatas, guillotines, pulling the head in a triangle, or anything below the waist). No body triangle for control or submission.

Kids divisions, 16 - 17 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for youth 16-17 except submissions below the waist. Body triangles for control are acceptable.

*No jumping guard or jumping submissions from standing allowed at any age

**Match Length**

All matches will be 3 minutes long.

**Weigh Ins**

In order to manage our space, our 4-9 year old divisions will be competing from 9am-10:30am, and our 10-17 year old divisions will be competing from 11:15am-12:30pm. Athletes in the 10-17 year old divisions can wait in the changerooms on the first floor prior to doors opening for their weigh ins.

4-9 Year Old Weigh Ins: 8:30-9:00am - All athletes will be weighed in wearing their Gi and will have a 1lb allowance.

10-17 Year Old Weigh Ins: 10:45-11:15am - All athletes will be weighed in wearing their Gi and will have a 1lb allowance.

**Registrations**

Regular registrations are $35.00+HST per child and will be open until November 14th. Late registrations are $50+HST per child and will be open until November 26th.
