Come prove yourself as one of the best submission artists in the country. At Stealth Grappling, our aim is to both sharpen your submission skills and provide you with a ton of XP, which we achieve with the below: We cater to kids and adults, hobbyists and serious competitors alike - come test your skills in a professional, yet friendly environment! Details: Event Date: Saturday 27th April Location: Te Atatu Peninsula Community Center, 595 Te Atatu Road Parking: Large carpark around the back of the building and plenty of street parking Weigh-in time: 9am-1pm (see the 'Weigh-in' tab for more details) Doors open: 9am Rules briefing: 9.45am Matches start: 10am Spectator fee: $20 per adult ($10 for parents/coaches), $5 per child aged 5-12 (under 5s are free). Cash, EFTPOS and bank transfer all accepted A superior competition experience: Division discounts/details: Sign up for either the gi or no-gi weight division and get $20 off the other one, and sign up for one absolute division and get the other free! 2 divisions (kids) - $90 2 divisions (youths) - $110 2 divisions (adults) - $130 4 divisions (adults) - $150 Divisions will be visible the entire time so you know who's signed up ahead of time, and brackets will be released 2 days prior to the event. Prizegiving: Prizegiving will be held as soon as the division ends - if you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd, please go straight to the podium to receive your medal. Gi divisions will be run first, then no-gi - If you're competing in both divisions and you medal in your gi division, please go straight to the podium to receive your medal, before changing into your no-gi gear. Prizes: Thanks to our sponsors Supreme Plumbing and RocBuild, we will have a range of prizes on offer for our events this year: Kids Prizes - we'll be selecting 3 divisions at random, and the winners will be awarded a goodie bag and a $50 gift voucher, for their choice of Auckland Zoo, Kelly Tarltons, Zone Bowling or Game Over. White Belt Sponsorship Program - we'll be selecting 3 white belts and sponsoring them each a private lesson with one of Auckland's top competitors, Jahred Dell. You don't even have to win, we just want to see hard work and a good attitude! Cash Prize - we'll be putting up a $250 cash prize for the winner of the men's no-gi advanced absolute division.
