# Stealth Sub Series - Christchurch (Gi and No-Gi)

Stealth Grappling welcomes you to our submission only tournament series! Our mission is to continue to elevate the level of submission grapplers here in New Zealand and create the conditions needed for success at the international and world championship level.

Our tournaments are round robin to ensure you have plenty of matches on the day. With shorter rounds and no points, we encourage you to hunt for the finish and prove yourself as one of the best submission artists in the country. Come test your skills in a friendly, yet competitive environment!

We're excited to finally bring the circuit down to the South Island and give all of the competitors here a platform to showcase their skills on! Axis BJJ have very kindly allowed us the use of their space to host the Stealth Sub Series while we're still working on a bigger setup. Please note that we will only be running adult divisions in order to avoid overcrowding in the venue. We apologise to any young savages looking to roll, we can't wait to have you once we have a more permanent setup down here!

Location: Axis Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, 462 Tuam Street
Parking: Plenty of street parking
Weigh-in time: 8am-12pm
Doors open: 8am
Rules meeting: 8.45am
Matches start: 9am
Spectator fee: $10 per adult, $5 per child aged 5-12 (under 5s are free)

Division discounts/details:

Sign up for either the gi or no-gi weight division and get $10 off the other
one, same goes for the absolute divisions. This means you can do 4 divisions for $120!

Divisions will be visible the entire time so you know who's signed up ahead of time, and brackets will be released 2 days prior to the event.

Gi divisions will be run first, then no-gi. If you medal in your gi division please go straight to the podium to receive your medal and have your photo taken, then change into your no-gi gear.

Prizegiving:

Prizegiving will be held from 10am onwards - if you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd please go straight to the podium to receive your medal. If you're competing in both divisions and you medal in your gi division, please go straight to the podium and do your prizegiving before changing into your no-gi gear.

Fastest submissions:

To encourage fast paced, exciting matches, we'll be rewarding the 3 competitors who get the fastest submissions on the day with a free t-shirt! (Adult's only until we place an order of kids' tees)

Spectator policy:

Please note that coaches are considered spectators. We need to cover our costs (running competitions is expensive) and having a door charge for everyone who enters is simply easier at the door. Please keep this in mind and be kind to our door staff.
