Multiple teams will face off in a round robin style grappling kumite, perhaps a few superfights thrown in the mix for a fun filled day for all to enjoy & build as a jiujitsu community. Highest collective team score wins and individual competitors gain submission points & takedown points totalled on a team leaderboard from all the match rounds. Matches are rapid paced 4-6 minutes with a ruleset encouraging pushing the action to chase submission finishes or score takedowns to get your team to 1st place. Points awarded for submission finishes are: *chokes= 6pts, *joint locks=3pts, (submit under 1 minute earn extra +1pt) *fast choke= 7pts or *fast joint lock= 4pts *Takedowns with 3sec pin=2pts (must be completely passed guard and have opponents back on the mat) +Allowed submissions=All chokes/joint locks/wristlocks/electric chairs/groin stretch/twisters /straight footlocks/twisting aoki footlocks/inside toe holds/hand smoothering (No Heelhooks, calf cranks & kneebars only are legal for Purple and above). -Not allowed= slams or spiking on head, jumping scissor takedowns, jumping guard , any foul or un-sportsman like conduct will be referee decision to issue a warning or DQ ) . Stalling is called if being non engaging, too defensive, avoiding combat, too much backwards retreating motion & not looking to advance position and seek attack opportunities. *Stalling =Advantage restart positions awarded against staller (30sec warning call, follow by 20sec shotclock then penalty given). *4th stalling call= -2pts are deducted from the staller and DQ Win to non staller. Top team on the leaderboard takes honours of "Sub Or Die Team Champs" & top place individual competitors on the leaderboard qualify thru for the "4 man eliminator" with Golden Score Overtime (1st to takedown + pin wins) or Submission shootout Overtime (win via fastest sub/fastest escape) decider round if required.
