# Submission Grappling Championship Sarajevo 2023 > Competition in Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina | March 18, 2023 – March 19, 2023 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** March 18, 2023 Grappling / BJJ No-Gi Tournament Location: Mirza Delibasic Hall / Skenderija Hall, Terezija, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina Weigh-in 8:00am - 9:00am | Referee Briefing 9:00am | Event Starts 10:00am Weighing will also be possible the day before, in the premises of the "Fitness Skenderija - Ledena Dvorana" from 5.00pm - 9:00pm (17:00 - 21:00) **RULES and GUIDELINES:**[http://grapplingindustries.com/rules/](http://grapplingindustries.com/rules/) **DIVISIONS**: Male/Female, Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced, Weight Class 0-2 years -**Beginner**, 2-4 years -**Intermediate**, 4+ years -**Advanced** Male weight categories: -57, -61, -66, -70, -77, -85, -94, -104, 104+ Female weight categories: -48, -54, -61, -68, -75, 75+ **FORMAT and PROTOCOL:**Submission Grappling Championship follow Round Robin formatting meaning that all adult competitors get 3 or 4 matches for signing up for a division that fills up to 4 competitors (depends on the number of registrations). That means you could get at least 2/3 fights. This allows you to compete against so many different people, giving you the experience you deserve! This tournament type is also followed by Grappling Industries! In the case of tiebreakers, the following algorithm will be used in order: Most Wins > Most Submissions > Head To Head Match > Sum of all match points > Sum of match penalties (lower is better) The time limit for every Adult fight in the tournament, including the round robin & the finals, will be 5 minutes. **PRICES**: Male and Female No-Gi - €25 Per Absolute Division (male and female) – Free Spectators - free **NOTE FOR ABSOLUTE CATEGORY REGISTRATIONS**: After you register to your Male/Female division, you will be able to register also for absolute categories. You can't register for absolute category only! **PAYMENTS**: There will be NO online payments. You can pay in CASH, during the weigh-in on the day of the tournament or the day before. **MEDALS and AWARDS for FIGHTERS**: - Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to all podium finishers - CASH PRIZES FOR ABSOLUTE CATEGORY WINNERS: **Beginner - 150€ | Intermediate - 200€ | Professional - 250€** **BEST OVERALL TEAMS and AWARDS**: - Best 3 teams will be awarded with a Team Trophy! - Trophy for a best tournament No-Gi fighter! **COMPETITOR LISTS**: Competitor Lists will be LIVE throughout the registration process and can be viewed by checking out the registrations tab on the event page. **BRACKETS and SCHEDULE:**On the day of the tournament, the event brackets and schedule will be released. You will be able to locate both on the event page brackets and schedule tab. We will also make a courtesy call for you on the microphone to come to the mat if you also haven’t already presented yourself for the bracket. Please be at the mat on time for your matches. We ask that you make sure to be present in the venue at least 60 minutes prior your division start time as well in case we are able to get head starts on certain division. You only need to weigh-in once if competing in several divisions. You must have officially weighed in this hours and have made the weight, or else you will be disqualified and removed from the bracket. **COACH CHAIR and CROWD CONTROL**: We will have 1 chair on each side of every score table, 1 for each coach of the competitor on the mat. The only other people allowed within the barricades during the tournament are the competitors on the mat having their match and the competitors on deck. **WARM UP MATS**: We will provide a warm up mat area for our competitors during the tournament. **TV SCOREBOARDS**: Competitor’s name, team, and flag are displayed, along with the match’s division and match number. **DIVISION RESULTS**: Division brackets along with their final placements are live updated to and readily available on the results tab of the event page. **CONTACT:**If you have any questions regarding the organization and the event, you can contact us at info@brotherhood.ba.
