# Submission Grappling Nationals (Gi and No-Gi) > Competition in Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand | November 03, 2023 – November 04, 2023 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** Introduction: Stealth Grappling welcomes you to our biggest tournament of the year! On November 4th, we'll be crowning the National champions of submission grappling. Come prove yourself as one of the best submission artists in the country. Our tournaments are round robin to ensure you have plenty of matches on the day. With shorter rounds and no points, we encourage you to push the pace and hunt for the finish. Come test your skills in a friendly, yet competitive environment! Details: Event Date: Saturday 4th November Location: Te Atatu Peninsula Community Center, 595 Te Atatu Road Parking: Large carpark around the back of the building and plenty of street parking Weigh-in time: 9am-1pm (see the 'Weigh-in' tab for more details) Doors open: 9am Rules briefing: 9.45am Matches start: 10am Spectator fee: $10 per adult, $5 per child aged 5-12 (under 5s are free). Cash, EFTPOS and bank transfer all accepted Division discounts/details: Sign up for either the gi or no-gi weight division and get $20 off the other one, and sign up for one absolute division and get the other free! 2 divisions (kids) - $90 2 divisions (youths) - $110 2 divisions (adults) - $130 4 divisions (adults) - $150 Divisions will be visible the entire time so you know who's signed up ahead of time, and brackets will be released 2 days prior to the event. We've decided to trial separating the Advanced division into Advanced (purple belts) and Expert (Brown and black belts), to encourage higher belts to jump in! Prizegiving: Prizegiving will be held as soon as the division ends - if you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd, please go straight to the podium to receive your medal. Gi divisions will be run first, then no-gi - If you're competing in both divisions and you medal in your gi division, please go straight to the podium to receive your medal, before changing into your no-gi gear. Teammate policy: In rare cases where only teammates from the same academy are in a division, competitors will have half of the cost of the division refunded via credit. Prizes: We will have the first ever Stealth Team Trophy up for grabs, for the academy with the highest number of points! If you're interested in sponsoring an event with cash or prizes for the top athletes (no matter how small) please contact us! Spectator policy: Coaches and parents of children who are competing are considered spectators. We understand you have already paid for your child's entry, however we need to cover our costs (running competitions is expensive) and having a door charge for everyone who enters is simply easier at the door.
