**Description:** Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling Tournament.

This is the first of many Swan River Opens to happen in the province of Manitoba. We wish to provide an organized, high quality tournament for all regional competitors to gain key competition experience and to test their skills. Our tournament has been developed to follow the same framework as many of the highest recognized international events.

We welcome and invite all academies to participate in our annual tournament and help the growth and recognition of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

The tournament will follow IBJJF rules.

All athletes must be weighed in and ready by 9:45AM

Doors open 9:00AM

WEIGH INS

Competitors will weigh-in in NOGI attire when they arrive at the venue, before their first fight. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make weight, they will be immediately disqualified.

Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions , if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted in the tournament day, no refund.

Competitors 14 and younger will have a 1lb weight allowance.
