**Description:** The M A Connection In-house Comp is open to current members, all junior and adult competitors for both Gi and No Gi.  It adheres to the IBJJF rules.  This is a competition which encourages players of any age to test their skill in order to improve their Jiu-Jitsu. This competition is to make members familiar with the skills and mindset around competing. It also gives an opportunity to learn the proper process of registering correctly, entering the correct weight divisions and ensuring your Gi and No Gi uniform is of legal requirements.  If unsure please see a coach and make the appropriate changes before registration ends.

It is important that you are familiar with registering your child for competitions outside of The M A Connection In-House comps.  Most competitions utilize Smoothcomp so please treat this an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the registration process and how to use the site to search for when and where your child is competing on the day.

IMPORTANT!  WHAT BELT SHOULD I REGISTER MY CHILD AS?

Lil Ninjas - Register only as a white belt or grey belt.

Junior Warriors - Register only as the full belt colour that your child wears, White, Grey, Yellow, Orange or Green (if they have recently moved up from Lil Ninjas and are a colour belt then they are a Grey Belt).

Please wear the belt colour that they are registered with.

In this competition you will weigh in once without a Gi and you need to be under the nominated weight allowance (however some competitions are different so please look at the rules to each time you register.  Most competitions will disqualify you if you do not make weight on the first and only attempt.
