# Torino Jiu Jitsu Challenge 2026 > Competition in Collegno, Turin, Italy | February 21, 2026 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** The Torino Jiu Jitsu Challenge is the most traditional Jiu Jitsu tournament in Italy, born in March 2007, reaching its 20 th edition making the TJJC the oldest tournament in Italy. One of a kind, the Torino Challenge has always stood out for its pursuit of evolution every year in order to make each participant a unique and pleasant experience. In line with its purpose the tournament will applied to the tournament the AJP RULES tournaments. KIDS CATEGORIES - ADULTS - MASTER 1 -MASTER 2 -MASTER 3-MASTER 4-MASTER 5 THIS YEAR GREAT NEW NO GI CATEGORY ALSO FOR JUNIOR-TEEN-JUVENIL CATEGORY The weights of the categories will be made Friday 20 February at the PalaRuffini in Viale Leonardo Bistolfi, 10, 10141 Torino TO from 18:00 to 20:30 and Satrurday 21 February from 7:30 to 9:00 . If an athlete written to a weight category fails to re-enter the latter at the time of weight control, he can ask to be moved to the weight category higher than his previously chosen one at that time. All fights will last 5 minutes with the exception of KIDS which have a different duration based on age. The Torino Jiu Jitsu Challenge rewards the winner of the Adult Open Black Belt category €1000 , 700 Adult Brown open, € 500 Adult Purple open and € 300 Adult Blue open with. The prizes are for both the Male and Female categories. ALL ATHLETES MUST WAIT IN THE WARM-UP AREA TO BE CALLED TO THE NEXT FIGHT, EVEN AFTER HAVING ALREADY FIGHTED. NO ATHLETE WILL BE CALLED TO FIGHT IF PRESENT INSIDE THE FIGHTING AREAS. INFORMATION FOR ALL TEAMS** FOR BETTER ORGANIZATION AND A SMOOTH EVENT, PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING RULES TO BE FOLLOWED DURING THE EVENT: ID - All athletes participating in the event must carry their ID. FIRST CALL - Athletes must remain in the warm-up area until their next bout; no athlete will be called outside of it. SUBSEQUENT CALL - All athletes who have finished their bout must return to the warm-up area and wait for their next round. COMPANIES IN THE COMPETITION AREA - Coaches are only permitted for the kids, infants, teens, and junior categories. ATHLETE PENALTIES - Only athletes who are scheduled to wrestle are permitted to enter the wrestling area. If any person other than staff is present within the wrestling areas, the academy in question will be deducted two points from its overall ranking for each person who breaks this rule. PENALTIES FOR COACHES - Only one coach is allowed per athlete in the kids, infant, teen, and junior categories. If this rule is broken, the athlete's academy will be deducted two points from its overall ranking. RANKING - The "best academy" entry will be used to calculate overall ranking points, as per the official AJP rules. ACADEMY - It is the responsibility of their coaches to manage these entries in the SmoothComp system. Points from academies with different names will not be added together.
