Rashguard and grappling shorts must be worn

Beginner category - under 2 years grappling experience (includes mma)

Intermediate - Over 2 years Grappling experience (includes mma) / No Purple, Brown or black belts / No Professional MMA fighters

Beginner Nogi - No Twisting or Rotational Footlocks / No Kneebars / No Wristlocks / No Jumping Guard or Submissions / No scissor leg takedowns / No Spinal attacks including can openers/ No reaping / No slamming

Intermediate Nogi - No Heelhooks / No Spinal attacks including can openers / No scissor leg takedowns / No Slamming

Advanced Nogi - No Slamming

*event capped at 300 adult competitors

*absolute category entry can only be gained with bracket entry and payment

*If there are less than 3 entries in a division, competitors will be merged divisions.  This is to prevent competitors being left with no matches in their division. If this is not an option, and there is no one in a competitors division, and they are unable to compete in a higher category, then a refund, credit to another event or default medal will be offered.
