> Competition in High Wycombe, England, United Kingdom | February 14, 2026

## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** Thank you to all parents, coaches and competitors who have decided to compete at UKGCC.

We will release the brackets in the next few days. Please check your match time closer to the competition, as some athletes may cancel at the last minute.

It will be a very busy day, but we promise to do our best to keep everything running on schedule, as always.

The next event in High Wycombe will be October, 17th.

See you on the mats!

Doors will open at 8.30 am for competitors and spectators.

Weigh in is available from 8.30 am, but you can weigh in at anytime during the day.

Matches will begin at 9.00 am and are expected to finish at 7.30pm.

Kids divisions will go first, followed by the Adults.

Warriors League and Quintet are the last ones to run.

Weigh ins are also available Friday evening at the venue from 19.45 until 21.30. Weight allowance for evening weigh in is 1.5 kg.

We believe in fairness and flexibility. Here’s how our policy works:

The Early Bird Offer is active until 4 weeks prior.

All registrations and payments must be completed via Smoothcomp before the deadline. Door payments are only accepted for spectators.

🥋 Free entry for brown and black belts in weigh class divisions. Please, reach out via email or any other contact methods listed in Smoothcomp to get your free entry voucher. This offer is not applicable to Warriors League and Quintet Cash entries.

We want every athlete to compete at least twice whenever possible. Here’s how we make it happen:

Our goal when merging divisions is to ensure competitors can have a match, while maintaining fairness and safety at all times. A merge may be proposed when there are insufficient competitors in a division, but no competitor is ever required to accept a merge.

For adults, a “fair” merge typically means:

Male and female adult divisions are never merged.

For children, our priority is to offer a match only when it is safe to do so.

We aim to:

As with adult divisions, all kids’ merge proposals may be refused, with the same refund policy applying.

**Register and pay as early as possible!**

Early registration not only saves you money but also helps attract more opponents — most competitors prefer signing up for divisions that already have entries.

Don’t wait —**lead the pack and sign up now!**
Our generous refund policy gives you peace of mind if your plans change.

Team sign-ups are simple:

If your team can’t be completed before registrations close, you may move into individual weight divisions — the same refund and cancellation policy applies.

The 2-Match Guarantee also applies to Team Divisions.

📏 Weight classes are listed on the registration form.

For experienced grapplers hunting for Champion Belts, we've created the UKGCC Warriors League Absolute NoGi division, which will follow the [UKGCC ruleset](https://ukgrapplers.com/rules/). This ruleset prioritises fighting for submissions over positional control.

**Champion belt for the winner!**

All grapplers can sign up regardless of experience and belt.

UKGCC ruleset in short:

Please keep in mind that this is an elite division. It often features seasoned competitors and coaches aiming for the belt.

If you haven’t competed in an absolute division before or don’t have significant competition experience, we recommend sitting this one out.
